Being a Baptist

Datchet Baptist Church is just a small part of the worldwide Christian Church. Baptists form one of the largest families of Christian faith and are found in nearly every country. Each local Baptist church is self-governing and supporting ranging in size from just a few people to several thousand. Baptists have always believed in associating with each other, and Datchet Baptist Church belongs to the Southern Counties Baptist Association and the Baptist Union of Great Britain.

We are members of the Evangelical Alliance and work closely with Christians from other traditions through Churches Together in Datchet.
