Sunday services

10.30am - Morning worship and activities for children and young people.  A lively and challenging encounter with Jesus Christ through the Bible, prayer, worship, songs, hymns and preaching. There are occasional all-age services in which the children and teens stay in for the whole service. On the other weeks the children and teens go out by 11.00am to age appopriate groups.

6.30pm - Evening worship. A worship service of a more reflective style, usually following Celtic or Northumbria Community forms of worship. Usually on 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month.  The fourth Sunday includes communion.

Please check the 'What's On' calendar for details of services and dates of evening services.

Lord's Supper (Communion). We celebrate the Lord's Supper (Communion) at least twice a month during a morning and an evening service as part of usual worship services. Please check the calendar for dates of services including communion. We invite all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour to take part.

During services we use a variety of songs and hymns as expressions of praise, such as 'Songs of Fellowship', 'Spring Harvest' and the 'Source' as well as 'Baptist Praise and Worship'. Singing is acompanied by piano or organ and at times by other instruments or the church singing group.

Praise the LORD with the harp;
make music to him on the ten-stringed lyre.
Sing to him a new song;
play skilfully, and shout for joy.

Psalm 33 vv.2-3
